Who I Am

Hi. My name is Sebastian.

I used to be a skinny kid with glasses and when I grew up, I decided I can do better. Now I’m a jacked kid with glasses.

Throughout my life, I have been working out and experimenting with my diet. As I gained more and more experience and gathered information during the decades, I wanted to pass on the knowledge and share my love for this lifestyle.

As an IFBB Certified Personal Fitness Trainer I’m happy to be able to do just that in a safe and effective way.

Honest

The fitness industry is abundant in exaggerated claims that are just not true. Dishonest players build upon the beginner’s naivety and lack of scientific background.

At My Body Matters, all interactions are based on honesty and accountability. Both your trainer and you have to be honest with each other in order to achieve the desired outcome.

Evidence-Based

The fitness industry is a relatively new one. It’s a huge playground for people to experiment with new ideas. New ways to work out, new ways to diet, new supplements and the list goes on.

However, in most cases, the scientific proof is just not there. For example, almost none of the currently available supplements are proven to work. Yet, there are thousands of different kinds of supplements on the market. Claims in advertisements and on the label are not even required to be true.

At My Body Matters, we take science seriously. Be it a workout plan, a lifestyle pattern, or a nutrition guideline. You can be sure that we will always prioritize scientific evidence over popular beliefs.

Long Term

Probably you have heard tons of amazing stories about people losing 20 pounds in 4 weeks using this and that program. And that might be even true. It might have been even you who lost a considerable amount in a short time.

The problem? It’s not sustainable. After the crash diet, you will be at your starting weight and then some in no time because your training program wasn’t focused on long-term results.

Why? Because it’s business. You’ll be back for another cycle and then one more and then again and again. You will not understand why you are back at square one each time. There must be something wrong with you, right?

Wrong. It’s not you. It’s a $96 billion fitness industry plus a $163 billion dietary supplement industry against you.

At My Body Matters, we focus on long-term results. The lifestyle changes, that will bring you lasting results, make you actually happy and make you feel in control.

Personal

The cookie-cutter belongs to the kitchen, in fitness, there is no one-size-fits-all. We are humans with different backgrounds, different challenges, different lifestyles, different access to equipment, different food choices, and different goals.

The only common thing is that we all want a change in our lives and we want to be held accountable to stay the course.

And this is exactly what we’ll do. Whatever your goal, you’ll reach it. That’s my promise. That’s my HELP.
